How to Sync the PS5 controller to your Playstation 5
5In this video I just wanted to show you how to Sync up a PS5 dual sense Controller to your ps5. I just picked up a Playstation 5 dual sense controller and found it wasnt connecting to my system. So I just wanted to share the steps that worked for me to resync it to my playstation 5 system. For this method you will need the USB connection cable, a small tool like a paperclip, your ps5 and the controller.
How to Sync PS5 Controller to you PS5
1. turn off PS5 (1st you have to make sure to turn off your PS5)
-Make sure your PS5 is turned off you can do this by either pressing the power button on the front of the console
-Or you can use any controller currently connected to the PlayStation by pressing the PlayStation button and navigating to turn off the system
2. Locate small reset button on back of the controller
-Take a look at the back of your new controller and locate the small reset button on the back of it
3. Use a small tool to push the button and hold for 3-5 seconds
-Find a small paperclip or similarly sized tool to press the button you located and hold it down for 3-5 seconds
4. Connect the controller to the PlayStation
-Connect the controller to the ps5 console using the USB cable and press the PlayStation button
-You will see the controller and the system light up and turn on
-If it is the first time your controller is connected to the system it may require some software updates, make sure to not unplug the controller or power of the system while it updates
5. Play games
-Finally when everything is connected and charged log on and play your favorite game! I've been loving AstroBot and good news it comes free on every PlayStation 5!
