You know, there's a real good story behind this...

In the land of MastrCrafting, there were two young ladies, one of purple and one of green. The city in which they resided was sparse of animals, so the one of purple thought, "This will not do, I must go out and find some to bring here!"

After years of searching (or going out 100 or so blocks), she discovered where the last two chickens had kept their hideout located. "Ah ha!" she exclaimed, before gently coaxing them out. "It's okay, you can trust me" she told them, as she led them back to town.

There, she met with her friend, the girl in green. She showed with great delight her find, and overjoyed, they set up a new home for their new friends.

As time went on, more chickens appeared in their home. Soon, they had more chickens, and in hand more eggs, than what they knew what to do with. So, they would throw the eggs away...quite literally. They would have great epic egg battles, and as a result, the city grew even more populated with chickens.

But the joy would not last forever. One day, a great shadow cast upon the land, in the form of a man in red. He despised how the chickens had survived and prospered, and in a rage he killed any within the city's border.

The girls were devastated, and the one of purple would shout at the man in red. Desperately, she would try to fill the land again, but the red man would not cease. The one of purple was close to giving in, but the girl in green had a look in her eyes that gave the girl of purple hope.

With that, they waited silently...waited for their chance to redeem the chickens.

Then one day, the man in red had to depart for a short time. The girls knew that this was their only chance. They had to strike, it was now or never. This was the result.

Essentially, the chickens are a running gag when we play, and Steph and JoMo decided to take it a step further.

JoMoDo enjoys throwing eggs at her friends, and therefore chickens would spawn. It also so happens that she quite enjoys the chicken mobs. CK doesn't want the chickens to keep getting in the way of the railways and such, so he plays "Pest Control". And Steph is just there for the ride. ;D
