🔕🔄🧏 How to Turn Off TalkBack Menu’s Option to Repeat Last Spoken Phrase
If you no longer use the “Repeat last spoken phrase” feature in TalkBack, you can turn it off to simplify your TalkBack menu. Removing unused options can help make your navigation faster and more efficient.
Steps to Disable "Repeat Last Spoken Phrase" in TalkBack Menu:
1. Open Accessibility Settings
Launch the Settings app on your Android device.
Scroll to Accessibility and tap on it.
Open TalkBack and ensure it’s currently active.
2. Enter TalkBack Settings
Open the TalkBack menu using the assigned gesture (usually swipe down then right in one motion, or tap with three fingers).
Tap on TalkBack settings.
Choose Customize TalkBack menu.
3. Turn Off Repeat Last Spoken Phrase
Look for "Repeat last spoken phrase" in the list of menu items.
Uncheck it or toggle it off to remove it from the TalkBack menu.
4. Confirm It’s Disabled
Open the TalkBack menu again and check that the option no longer appears.
Your menu will now contain only the items you’ve kept enabled.
