To turn off your Nintendo Switch while in handheld mode, follow these simple steps:

Press and hold the power button: Locate the power button on the top-right corner of the handheld console (next to the volume buttons).
Hold it down for five seconds: Keep the power button pressed for about five seconds.

Access the power options menu: A menu will pop up. Select “Power Options.”

Choose “Turn Off”: In the new menu, select “Turn Off” using the controller’s “A” button.

Remember that turning off the Nintendo Switch completely will end any game you’re currently playing, so make sure you’ve saved your progress! 🎮🔌

For putting your Switch into Sleep Mode, you can either press the power button directly on the tablet or press and hold the Home Button to access a quick menu. The Sleep Mode allows you to preserve your game progress and quickly resume when you’re ready to play again. 🌙✨
