How To Turn On Private Browsing On iPhone Safari - Easy Solution | HTG
If you want to turn on private browsing in Safari on your iPhone, the process is quick and easy. Private browsing, also known as incognito mode, allows you to browse the web without saving your history, cookies, or other browsing data.
To enable private browsing, open the Safari app on your iPhone. At the bottom right corner of the screen, tap the Tabs button, which looks like two overlapping squares. This will bring up your open tabs. Next, tap on the "Start Page" or the tab groups menu at the bottom. You will see an option labeled "Private"—select it. Once you do this, tap the plus (+) icon to open a new private browsing tab.
You are now in private browsing mode, and Safari will not save your history or search data. To switch back to normal browsing, repeat the steps and select "Start Page" or another tab group instead of "Private."
This method allows you to browse privately without leaving traces of your activity. If the Private option doesn’t appear, check your Screen Time settings to ensure that website restrictions are not enabled.
