How To Find WhatsApp Backup Data On Google Drive ! - Easy Solution | HTG
If you’ve backed up your WhatsApp chats to Google Drive and need to locate them, you can do so by accessing your Google Drive account. While these backups cannot be manually downloaded or exported for direct use, you can still check if your backup exists and manage it if needed.
First, open WhatsApp and confirm that your chats are backed up. Tap on the three-dot menu in the top right corner, go to "Settings," then "Chats," and select "Chat Backup." Here, you’ll see the last backup details, including the linked Google account.
To find the backup in Google Drive, open a web browser and go to [drive.google.com](https://drive.google.com/). Sign in using the same Google account where your WhatsApp backup is stored. Once logged in, click on the three-line menu in the top left corner and select "Storage" or "Backups" (depending on your Drive interface).
Previously, backups were stored in a dedicated "Backups" folder, but Google has now made them accessible only through the backup management section. If you have a WhatsApp backup, it should be listed there. However, these backup files are encrypted and cannot be opened or directly restored outside of WhatsApp.
