Follow the steps below to update the firmware on your TP-Link Kasa Smart device:
1. Open the Kasa Smart app on your iPhone or Android phone and login to your account.
2. Select the 3 horizontal lines in the top left of the app to open the menu and select Settings.
3. In Settings, select Firmware Update.
4. You will now see a list of the Kasa Smart devices associated with your account. The app will check to see if a Firmware update is available for your device. If you see Update that means there is an update available for that device. To update your device simply select Update.
