About this video: In this video, I teach you exactly how you can update your Minecraft 1.7.10 server to Minecraft 1.8! This is the most simple method that I know of when it comes to updating a 1.7.10 server to Minecraft 1.8, and it does require that you already have a 1.8 server setup. Once you've got that, you are good to go, and you can follow this tutorial.

This will also work for Bukkit 1.8 servers and Forge 1.8 servers, but at the time this video was recorded, those servers have not updated. When they do update, this same method will work. Just create the 1.8 server and transfer the world file. It is that simple.
