How to use a Laptop a Second Monitor
To use your laptop as a second monitor you need to install an option feature that Windows 10 and 11 has. It is called Wireless Display.
If the Wireless Display feature is not enabled on your PC, then you need to add it.
Simply click on optional features. Now Add a feature. From the list, you need to select Wireless Display. Install the feature. And select available everywhere.
Now your PC is ready for connection and you need to request the connection from your android device.
If you couldn’t istall wireless display, then search for internet options, go to the advanced tab, and check Use TLS 1.1 and 1.0.
Then go to search, type in CMD, and run it as an administrator. Here, type in these codes: ipconfig /flushdns, then type in netsh winsock reset. Then restart your computer and repeat the steps shown before. It should let you download Wireless display now.
Ok. After you have installed it, your PC is ready.
Then, press Windows + K on the laptop you want to project from and choose the laptop you want to project to. Allow and now you will be projecting.
If it doesn’t appear, make sure that the receiving laptop is either plugged in, or you uncheck this setting to be receiving only when it is plugged in.
