How to Use Emoji on Windows
21Click or tap any text field in any app. This could be Microsoft Word, Google Chrome, Notepad etc:
Press either of these keyboard shortcuts:
Windows Key and Period / Full Stop Key ( . )
Windows Key and Semicolon Key ( ; )
An emoji picker will appear on screen over the text field
Click any emoji to insert it
To change skin tones, click the skin tone chooser in the top-right.
Note: this button only appears when browsing the people tab
Also you can use the emojis from the Windows 10 screen touch keyboard
Right-click on the Windows taskbar and select Show touch keyboard button from the context-menu.
This will place the touch keyboard icon in the system tray.
Click on the touch keyboard button to start the touch keyboard and make it appear on your screen.
When the touch keyboard appears on your screen, click on the small smiley button in it to switch it to the emoji mode.
You can select from many different sets of the emojis – smilies, hearts, food, transportation, party, and many more. You can use your mouse to use these emojis and type them into any window that is in the focus.
