How To Use /give Command Minecraft- /give With Enchants and Names

Quick lesson, all of the id's of the blocks can be used instead of their names when /giving. If there is more than one type of block (stone), then you will see something like this (1:3). 1 is the block id and 3 is the tag I talked about. So you would /give @p stone 1 3.
That gives you diorite. For the same result you can type: /give @p 1 1 3. The first 1 is the block id for stone. So you can type the block id instead of the actual block name.
