In this video I do a quick tutorial on how to mount Windows exFAT USB stick on Ubuntu Linux. exFAT is apparently a standard file system used by Windows for external media, such as USB memory sticks.

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS does not natively support exFAT so you may be confused at first when you can't see the volume when you insert the USB stick.

Using Disks GUI you should be able to see the USB drive and the file system of the volume on that drive. Installing exfat-fuse and exfat-utils will enable Ubuntu to mount the disk.
