How To Use Xenia To Play Gears of War Developer Alpha/Beta Builds With Dev Console *READ DESC*
6Steps:
Download and install winrar as shown in video
Scroll down to find the latest windows release of xenia canary, download it, and extract to its own folder as shown in this video
Run xenia one time without loading any game yet so it makes the config file,
open up the config file in notepad and find the keyboard option and set the number from 0 to 2 as shown in the video, it enables keyboard passthrough support, so you still play with a controller like on a normal console but you use the keyboard to access the dev menu
Use the dropbox link below to find and download gears of war dev builds youve seen me play on this channel. When running gears dev builds make sure if you click on an .xex to run a game you click on something that either says "test.xex" or something that mentions "debugconsole.xex" as those are the ones that have access to the command console. You open the dev menu by pressing the TAB button or the ` button in the top left of your keyboard once youre already loaded into the game.
