How to win without much building and editing in Fortnite.

I am not really great with building and editing. But what I am a little good at is shooting. I just don't do build battle and only build as a defence.
I am sure I will not be able to win agains a very good builder and editor. but any normal players in normal lobby you can win without much building (with a little bit of luck).
