Normally the PlayStation TV doesn't allow you to play Mortal Kombat along with dozens of other PlayStation Vita games. But thanks to a small hack you can actually play a huge number of games that aren't supported by the device.

Mortal Kombat on the PS Vita is basically the PS3 version of the game with the graphics downgraded a bit. The core gameplay works perfectly with a controller (both Dualshock 3 and 4 controllers) and is just a very good game on the PS TV. The game works so well that it should be officially playable on the device.

But the PS Vita version does include a special challenge tower which does include a lot of touch based challenges. These challenges are only playable with a Dualshock 4 touchpad since you can't move your character if you use the touch controls on a Dualshock 3. These challenges are a bit clunky and I recommend only playing the normal game on the PS TV.
