How Will Halo Infinite End? (Theories, Memes, Mint Blitz)
18Wanted to toss some actual content your way and deliver hope for the future of the Halo series. Halo has some very passionate fans, and expectations are higher than Snoop Dogg in an airplane.
Will 343i deliver? We will have to wait and see. I have hope that they have taken a step back and looked at Bungie's Halo and what made those games so successful, especially Halo 3. Halo Infinite needs to be a definitive end for the Chief and Cortana. Whether they both die, or neither die, some how, some way, the story needs to come to a close.
Personally, I don't think either should die. I think that the Banished and Guardians should be permanently dealt with and that Cortana should be cured of her rampancy. It has become a cliché in modern media to simply kill off the main character, and a good subversion of expectations would be for Chief to retire and disappear (or take a much smaller role in future Spartan Ops). Copies of Cortana can be made that have differing personalities and quirks, new Spartan teams can be formed, and new stories can be told throughout any point in Halo's timeline.
Whatever the case may be, the game is complete. The story is written, and we will soon come to find whether or not it was worth the wait.

There has been a significant delay in my creative process, as I have recently moved across the country and am acclimating to a new job, new surroundings, and a completely different life.
