Capcom has finally lifted the curtain on Resident Evil Requiem, the long-rumored next entry in the legendary Resident Evil series—and the hype is real. In this video, we break down everything you need to know about Resident Evil Requiem, including the thrilling return to Raccoon City, key gameplay changes, story connections to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village, and five crucial things Capcom needs to nail to make this game a true survival horror masterpiece.

We’re going back to the ruins of Raccoon City—but this isn’t the same zombie-infested metropolis we explored in the classic games. The bomb has dropped. It’s been 30 years. The city is a cratered wasteland filled with haunting echoes of the past, terrifying mutants, and abandoned Umbrella labs. This could easily be the creepiest setting in Resident Evil history if Capcom gets it right.

In this video, I cover the top 5 things I personally want from Resident Evil Requiem to make it the best in the modern trilogy:

✔ ️ A return to pure survival horror with limited resources, tight corridors, and real tension—not over-the-top action like Resident Evil 6.
✔ ️ Classic Resident Evil characters like Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, and Chris Redfield finally making a return—or at least making memorable cameos.
✔ ️ Deeper lore connections to RE7 and RE Village, tying up loose ends involving the Mold, the Megamycete, Rose Winters, and the BSAA’s bio-weapon plans.
✔ ️ A real conclusion to the RE7–RE9 storyline, giving this new trilogy the proper sendoff it deserves before Capcom possibly reboots the series again.
✔ ️ An unforgettable post-destruction Raccoon City full of atmospheric horror, new mutants, hidden secrets, and ruined landmarks that tell a story through their decay.

Plus, I share my thoughts on the potential return of enemies like Lickers, Tyrants, and even new bio-weapons hidden beneath the city’s ruins. What if the Mold connection to Raccoon City goes deeper than we thought? Could this explain the lingering horrors left behind?

If you’re a longtime Resident Evil fan, a lover of survival horror, or someone curious about what the future of this iconic franchise holds, this video is for you. I break down what could make or break Resident Evil Requiem and why it might be the most terrifying Resident Evil game yet.
