Minecraft Update Resource Pack. I show you how to update your resource pack to 1.16 in Minecraft Java Edition. Minecraft just released version 1.16.2 and now the pack format in pack.mcmeta needs to be changed to a 6. Updating the Resource Pack to 1.16 from an earlier version is really simple once you know the proper steps.
