---------Additional Info---------
There isn't much we can do in the Science Wing at the moment as the Laboratory and Workshop still can't be accessed, however we can get the Future Rifle, and find our first Radioactive Spider. Radioactive Spiders work just like they did in the first game, as they can bring dead spiders back to life by just walking near them.
You'll notice another door called the Cybercore. This is a future addition to the game that doesn't exist yet due to the game still being Early Access.
The Armory is the home of the Upgrade Station where we can spend Upgrade Modules to upgrade our Equipment. The Tape Deck and all Potions cannot be upgraded, so we can ignore them. Each piece of Equipment can be upgraded at least two times, and each upgrade is different depending on the Equipment.
Our seventh HSF Vindicator objective, "Decked Out", requires us to upgrade our first piece of Equipment with an Upgrade Module. Our reward for completing this objective is Compound X.
Upon collecting ten total Upgrade Modules, we can open a Locker in the Armory for some Compound X.
The Clipboard cannot be upgraded at this time as it requires us to complete more Objectives than we currently have access to.
The Tracker's Upgrades require us to find hidden collectible items. Just collecting everything alongside me is enough for that. The first upgrade allows us to see when we are close to a collectible using the Tracker, but it's somewhat unreliable for now.
The Hairspray's first upgrade requires us to burn many objects, that aren't Spiders. This unlocks an Alt-Fire option that turns Hairspray cans into grenades. The second upgrade requires us to kill spiders with said Hairspray Grenades. This unlocks efficiency which will lower the amount of fuel we spend burning things.
The Pistol requires us to kill spiders while they are unaware. This means they cannot take off running if we get close, and we can't miss and scare them. This will unlock a silencer that will prevent spiders from getting scared by the Pistol anymore. The second upgrade simply requires kills with the Pistol and the reward is a larger magazine.
The Future Rifle's first upgrade requires us to kill five spiders with the same clip without reloading, and to do that three times. Our reward is a Grenade Launcher feature. The second upgrade requires us to destroy Eggs with the Rifle, but we haven't encountered any yet and cannot do this.
The Nailgun's first upgrade requires us to stick spiders to surfaces by shooting them with nails, and our reward is the ability to keep them stuck for a longer period of time. The second upgrade requires us to kill stuck spiders with the Nailgun, and the reward is a full auto function for the Nailgun.
The Vacuum's first upgrade requires us to suck up living or dead spiders with the Vacuum, and the upgrade is a larger capacity for the Vacuum. The second upgrade requires us to suck up random objects with the Vacuum and them blow them back out to kill spiders. The reward for this is the ability to fire said objects farther.
