Today, we're going to test the sensitivity of your physical reactions with a whole barrage of examination. We've got three types of skin sensitivity testing, five types of hearing tests, light sensitivity testing, and a smell/taste complexity test. Inspired by WhispersRed ASMR's 'Sunshine Academy' videos for the HSP!
The HSP category is likely considered a 'pop psychology' thing without basis in science as far as I know, so I'm just gonna go ahead and call it 📢 PSEUDOSCIENCE 📢 From Wikipedia: "Pseudoscience consists of statements, beliefs, or practices that claim to be both scientific and factual but are incompatible with the scientific method." From Oxford Languages: "a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound. 'ASMR is triggered by things like whispering voices, paper tearing, and scalp massage.'"
