HTC Vive VR: Windlands - Explore a fallen civilization with grappling hooks
23I'm playing Windlands in VR with the HTC Vive motion controls. Swing through a stylized world, explore and collect artifacts.
Windlands is a game about exploration. You're armed with a pair of grappling hooks and super-human jumping powers, and your goal is to traverse a fallen civilization. Find hidden paths, unlock new levels, and collect artifacts across a vast beautiful world. The VR controls in this game are great and it makes you feel like you're really flying through the air as you use grappling hooks to swing around the world.
This game is supported in VR on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. On HTC Vive you can utilize the motion controllers as your grappling hooks, taking the immersion to the next level. The locomotion takes some getting used to, especially if your sensitive to artificial locomotion, but there are multiple different comfort options to suit everyone's preferences. I recommend this game to anyone with a VR headset.
