Valve has updated The Lab with gameplay improvements for all the minigames! Longbow now has infinite waves and leaderboards.

They also updated Xortex and Slingshot to have global leaderboards. Longbow has infinite waves and a new scoring system. Score points for each enemy you kill and each balloon you pop, with extra points for headshots. Every 8 waves you can take a break and the barrels/oil will respawn.

The Lab is a game developed by Valve for the HTC Vive virtual reality headset. The Lab consists of multiple minigames and VR experiences to showcase VR. The Lab minigames Longbow, Xortex, and Slingshot are considered some of the best games on the HTC Vive at the moment, and they got much better today with the update. Valve introduced a lot of the changes fans have been asking for, bringing more replayability and competitiveness to The Lab minigames.

Longbow is a tower defense archery game in The Lab where you stand on top of a tower with a bow and arrow and shoot arrows at enemies that try to attack your keep. It has some of the best archery mechanics in VR right now and it's very satisfying to shoot arrows and blow up the weird lab minions.
