Vanishing Realms is a first-person VR fantasy RPG made by Kelly Bailey, a former Valve employee who worked on many of Valve's most popular games. It utilizes virtual reality with the HTC Vive to create an immersive RPG experience with roomscale exploration, motion-controlled swordfighting, archery, spellcasting, and active dodging and blocking.
Travel through dungeons and fantasy landscapes to collect treasure, gold, and magic ore. Buy swords, shields, bow and arrows, and magic wands to help fight evil skeletons and collect their loot. The VR combat in the HTC Vive headset is extremely active, immersive, and fun. I have played through this game twice now and still love it.
