(HUGE UPDATE: read description) speakers died.
Update 6/2/22 below
1: I got new speakers or as they're called "monitors". They work great.
2: I'm learning how to use Reaper and figure out which plugins work best for my voice as well as just learning how to use... well everything revolving around processing audio like a big boy. (I used to use Audacity but even then I didn't know what I was doing.)
3: I got a new microphone. Neumann TLM 103. (Old mic was a Rode NT1-A from YEARS ago)
4: I'm going to be deleting a bunch of D&D videos on the channel. Some of the people within them are no longer wishing to have their voice used. I'll just give a recap of the episode with my own voice and use the visuals OR if I decide to be a total psychopath I will dub over their voices with my own. We will see, no promises. So sorry no new episodes until I repair the old episodes first.
5: I have drawn up a legal Consent and Release form all future/past players of Die Cat have to E-sign going forward.
So once I figure out how to process audio (I'm close, been practicing, learning) for my new microphone, things should be looking up again AFTER I redubb old D&D episodes. ha... ha....... ha............. at least I'll be really busy.
Thank you for your patience! The bright side is that since the speakers broke I have upgraded a bunch more stuff in my studio and now have the legal end sorted out for any/all players on Die Cat.
If anything goes missing just assume someone didn't want to sign a release and consent form for Die Cat.
Much love,
Eric
