Twitch Bois - https://www.twitch.tv/shadystanog
FULL SCRIPT:
Today we received the new 1.5.1 Beta and 1.5.0 move to live. The update is
1.2GB
This path came out the blue and its not the biggest, but some changes are
good to see for sure!
The link to the new beta patch will be down below - https://bit.ly/3hB32r0
So lets get into the changes:
(BTW i am going to go over the important changes, minor crash fixes wont
be discussed, but major ones will be, full link to patch will be in the
description if you want to read every crash and bug fix.
Singleplayer First:
- Added a notification that informs the player that the game was successfully quicksaved.
- Added new Battanian chainmail armour.
- 3 new end game horse saddles added.
- Added missing troop tier and type icons to the new hideout troop
selection popup
- You can now block archer fire with Auto Block Enabled, used to be a bug.
- AI will now still siege in certain circumstances if the player decides to
break into a castle or town onces its begone to get sieged. AI used to just
leave as soon as the player joined, now they will stick with the siege more.
- Further removed more starting gear so everything is balanced in price and
power.
- Riding skill were overhauled with 24 new perks, all perks should work now.
- 6 Throwing perks were added as well.
- Starving parties troops will become wounded 50% slower now, was too fast before this patch.
- Losing factions and kingdoms with no settlements will still make new parties and armies and take back settlements now, huge chnage and brings a possibility for comebacks.
- AI will make better peace decisions now based on more variables. AI kingdoms do not want to be at war with more than 1-2 kingdoms, so they will make peace more. If the AI is running out of men, food and income, they will call for a peace. Kingdoms will try to not make war as often with neighboring kingdoms. This will slow down snowballing a lot.
- New barber NPC was added to towns and for 100 denars you can change your haircut and depending on the towns culture, different options will be
available.
- A lot of quest fixes, will be on the screen right now if you want
to pause.
- Tournaments will now used blunt weapons so they appear more friendly, so idk if they mean if the code will just change the weapons to blunt damage or weapons will be changed, but a good change regardless.
- New notifications for villages being raided.
Now Multiplayer:
- A player can from now on report the same player only 3 times per session.
- Added missing spear brace icons.
BOTH -
- First-person camera positioning is changed so that the clipping and being
able to see the neck part of the body is significantly reduced. Kind of huge
change in my opinion.
- Couched lance and braced spear damages are reduced to a point where they are mainly effective with a high relative speed only. Another huge one.
That is all the changes for this patch, small, but a lot of good changes
to war and peace.
Lastly i am going to end this video in the same way i ended most update
