Primal Storms Guide - Objectives and Rewards
What are Primal Storms?
Every 6 hours, two Dragon Isles zones will receive a Primalist force invasion in certain areas. The locations are marked with a red X on your Dragon Isles map. Invasions last for 2 hours, and the 6-hour timer starts once the current invasion ends, giving them an effective 8-hour rotation.
There are no set objectives on Primal Storms - The objective here is to grind NPCs to collect currency and purchase gear.
Why Should I Participate in Primal Storms?
While the gear rewards are lackluster from Primal Invasions, there are some reasons players might be interested in farming this content:
If you missed your chance at crafting the Unstable Elemental Confluence Heirloom trinket during the Dragonflight Pre-Patch event, you're able to use Dragonflight Primal Invasions to craft the trinket;
You can obtain the Blue version from the Raging Tempest gear appearance for transmog. The gear also has stats and even a set bonus, but it is not recommended to use Primal Invasions as your main source of gear - The starter ilvl of 359 is already weaker than most sources of gear from before Dragonflight Season 1, and it'll only get worse with Season 1 sources of gear.
For collectors and completionists, there are achievements and even two Battle Pets ( Ghostflame and Stormie) and a Mount Stormhide Salamanther.
There are also several profession recipes that can drop from Primal Invasion mobs:
Jewelcrafters can obtain Design: Elemental Lariat, which crafts into Elemental Lariat, a powerful necklace;
Enchanters are able to drop several weapon illusions: Formula: Illusion: Primal Air, Formula: Illusion: Primal Earth, Formula: Illusion: Primal Fire, Formula: Illusion: Primal Frost

Blizzard has introduced the Trading Post, a feature in an upcoming Dragonflight patch to complete monthly activities for special cosmetic rewards.
You will earn the Trader’s Tender currency primarily through completing activities across a wide range of WoW's content--not just endgame PvE and PvP, but also some lighthearted activities handpicked each month!
The rewards will be a variety of fun cosmetics like transmogs and pets, and some will be cosmetics from past promotions or cash purchases--allowing alternative ways for players to obtain these items. In a screenshot provided by Blizzard in the article, we can see the sample wares for one month include the shop item Celestial Steed.
