The objective of Hunt the Night is to play as Vesper, a virtuous member of "The Stalkers," and explore the vast world of Medhram, a place filled with ruins and horrors.
The game combines fast and skilled gameplay with dark fantasy lore, and players are asked to quickly dodge enemy projectiles and jump over bottomless caverns.
The story in Hunt the Night is ultimately a tiny string to tie itself to the meaty gameplay of the game.
The game features both close and ranged combat and split-second dodges, and players fight against evil creatures of darkness in a corrupted world. The ultimate goal is to find the key to reclaiming a perpetual daytime cycle, a move that will banish the horrid creatures of the Night.
