This week in hardware news, Samsung's earnings have been adjusted to account for a decrease in memory pricing, NVIDIA has lost Tom Petersen to Intel, PCIe SSDs are becoming ubiquitous, and ASUS accidentally distributes ShadowHammer malware through its Live Update utility. Intel's moves to build its GPU / video card division have expanded significantly.
