After a recent Steam update we can now use the Razer Hydra with Steam VR. So this is a huge leap in the Right Direction. This leads me to predict that STEM will also be supported going forward??

Oculus needs to take a long hard look at this and start meeting the good will gestures from Valve half way. If you think about it it is a smart move. Valve will make money because those with an Oculus Rift will buy Vive games from Steam. I am happy if that happens as this move shows the community spirit of the PC race.

This footage also shows Oculus Rift cross platforming possibilities with HTC Vive. Thank you to Nathie for showing me the ropes and to Greig for being a good sport even after 6 hours of issues setting up his new Vive .

This hydra add on will definitely make the wait for consumer VR a lot easier and I confirm that this is a viable way to experience VR at a much lower price. OF course the DK2 + hydra do have their short comings when compared to the VIVE and CV1 but overall a really great experience
