2021-12-28. Hyper Echelon.
Just a pure grind fest.
Beautiful art work but just bad gameplay.

Every power up is worth 5% or 7% extra, and eventually you can start to dominate the earlier levels. But your rate of fire never increases. The number of bullets you fire actually decreases. And there is always one enemy that flies off-screen (denying you the 100% kill rate) because of enemies that take no damage (impossible to kill) or large enemies slowly coming out of the bottom of the screen peppering you with shots you can do nothing about.

I don't understand why my power-ups are not working, that the tutorial taught me, and I cannot check the options/settings/controls during gameplay because of poor UI / screen management design. It turns out it's because I have not yet powered them up.
