Hyper Light Drifter PLAYER FAIL [Thursday Throne]
0Thursday Throne #62, part 2, originally streamed on March 31, 2016 at 8:00pm. Part 1 is conspicuously absent, being about ten minutes of trying to play Assassin's Creed, accomplishing nothing before it froze in the same manner it always did. Part 3, likewise missing, was just about 30 minutes of dead air while I tried to decide what to play after ragequitting here.
This game was way harder than I was expecting. In my defense, this was the day of the game's release, and at that time, I remember encountering some serious jank in its controller configuration. Control issues combined with high difficulty meant I was not having fun.
They fixed the controls at some point, though! I've attempted it again on my own time, because honestly, giving up like this on a game I had been excited about was frustrating and embarrassing, and I didn't want to risk reliving that. Controls are a lot more comfortable now, and I came into it knowing I needed to be cautious and patient, so the experience was much better all-around. I still haven't beaten it, but I think I'm past the halfway point at time of writing this.
