Turns out that this game's minimum requirements are false and the game can run fairly decently on machines that don't even come close to meeting the minimum requirements, such as mine!

RAM: 4 GB
Video: Mobile Intel Series 4 Chipsets with 256 MB of allocated VRAM (Integrated Graphics)
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Benchmarks (at 1024x576 resolution):
-In menus & cutscenes: 60 FPS (doesn't drop below)
-During gameplay (no enemies): 40-46 FPS
-During gameplay (with enemies): 15-36 FPS

Quite interesting, if you ask me.
