Note: This is the same description as the Outside video, still me and my life and my opinions and stuff.
Breath of the Wild is incredible, and so is its soundtrack. I think the greatness of many tracks comes from the instrument choices and the mix of different kind of sounds, that's why i didnt want to do a lot of covers.
However, i found three themes that are in my opinion interesting to arrange:
-Hyrule Castle, both inside and outside: The outside track is played by a very classic, complete, orchestra, which is the kind of stuff i usually work with; while the inside one is mainly based on this organ/nearly synth sound that i really enjoy. It really makes a good climax to the game's ending, and reminds me of Game of Thrones' Light of the Seven and Joe Hisaishi's work for Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind's OST (in which, by the way, you should give a listen to "valley of the wind" if you've played BotW as it is really similar to Kakariko Village)
I also love how they are each other's counterpart, especially with Link's theme and Zelda's theme mirroring each other ; something that we often hear in the game, like in the day and night horse riding themes.
-The second one is the theme for the Vah Ruta Battle, which i really enjoy simply in a melodic and harmonic point of view. The fact that the instruments are quite standard makes it a good track to cover without losing the original feeling. I guess i enjoy the track even more since it was my first divine beast, and after hours of running-climbing-cooking it was the beginning of the serious stuff.
-And last but not least, Kass' Theme is what reminds you that Breath of the Wild is before all and after all a Zelda game. Running in the field, hearing that sweet accordion tune, and meeting this really poetic character ; thats something you wont find in any other game series ! In my opinion it already deserves a place among the ocarina songs and the howling stones. I may do a cover of it one day, but if you're looking for sheets, check out Latios212's arrangement (link at the top of the description), and dont hesitate to stay on his channel for a while, there's some fabuloussss Pokemon/Zelda stuff !
