Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity - Freeing Korok Forest | Part 14
This is a pretty long stage. We start with piloting Revali's Divine Beast, Vah Medoh. Unlike the last two where we had a linear path to follow, we get a wide open area to destroy all the enemies in. Vah Medoh is the Divine Beast I like piloting the most. You can switch angles to shoot above or below, making it easier to hit all the outposts you need to.
After that, we're introduced to Hestu who guides us through Korok Forest. We eventually fight a Stalnox, but it's not particularly threatening and very similar to a Hinox.
After that, Hestu becomes playable and we have 4 areas to go to in order to clear the calamity blocking the way to the Great Deku Tree. When a character reaches on of those areas, a Hollow appears. Basically a clone of a character. You have to fight all 4 of them, but they shouldn't be much trouble. As soon as the 4th is defeated, Link is automatically taken to the center of the map where Astor attacks him. with the 4 Hollows from before.
But Link also draws the Master Sword, which deals bonus damage against Calamity enemies and, for Hollows in particular, counts every hit as a weak point attack. So Link can dispatch them easily. Then you fight Astor himself, who fights about how you'd expect a dark sorcerer to. He flies around, uses magic projectiles, can even summon Hollows mid-fight. Nothing much to say other than dodge and counterattack. Just have to get used to his moveset, and try to avoid him when he turns into a balls and dashes to change his position, he's invincible during that and will just hurt you if you make contact.
