While you're going around taking out captains, keep an eye on Ruto in case she becomes overwhelmed by a swarm of units. If this happens you'll need to stop what your doing and get to her as soon as possible so she doesn't fall. On the bright side, this would give you a good boost in KOs so you can worry less about the 'A' Rank in this one. Other than that, take out enemy captains to open the Enemy Base.
Once the enemy Base is open, nothing is stopping you from taking out Fi. Make sure you rescue the fairy from the East Field Keep so you can dispel the barrier.
