I 3D Printed My Own Shoes - The Whaleberry By Cloudberry - 80+ Hour Print!
I 3D printed my own shoes… and wore them.
In this video, I dive into the future of footwear by printing a size 12 pair of WHALEBERRY shoes by Cloudberry using Sunlu TPU filament on the Bambu Labs A1 3D printer. This sleek, modern design caught my eye on MakerWorld.com, and I knew it had to be the first 3D printed shoe I try.
Not only did they print cleanly and comfortably — I actually wore them and tested them in real-world conditions. From there, I was able to pinpoint what these types of prints are actually useful for, and where 3D-printed footwear could shine in the near future.
We’ve come a long way in just a few years — and this video is proof of how far this technology has evolved. I also showcase a few other airless TPU functional prints that you can try printing at home, no supports or fancy setups needed — especially if you’re using the Bambu A1 or similar high-speed machines.
