Welcome everyone! πŸ‘‹ If you're new around these parts - my name is Tyler and I go by Zaney online. I hope you're doing fantastic today. This is my channel where I share what I am interested in and my opinions. If you do enjoy the shenanigans that go on around here, please consider supporting me through one of the platforms linked below or just pressing that like and subscribe button on your way out - it's truly appreciated!

OpenBSD has been giving me some weird issues. It seems that on boot OpenBSD doesn't know how to configure my ACPI / fan headers / fan controller properly. So when I boot into OpenBSD my CPU fan spins really low and it won't respect BIOS settings. With nothing helping - like changing BIOS settings, updating to -current, and more. So to solve this issue I just used a molex to fan adapter and used a 3 pin case fan to cool my CPU.
Problem not solved, but just circumvented completely... lol
