I Am Here (2016, 2017, PC English Gameplay 2021)
2I Am Here is a psychological 1st Person horror themed adventure game. It was released in Japanese in 2016 and the English version came in 2017. The game was Developed and Published by Giggle Game.
STORY: 20/20
You awake in an unknown location, where you solve puzzles to try and escape some underground building you are in. You have nothing but your trusty phone with you and your voice helper for information.
GRAPHICS: 18/20
For what it uses.. the graphics are great, there's custom graphics used also that work quite well but my only issue really is maybe the phone and hand graphics should have been drawn and not real to fit in with the other used graphics.
SOUND: 20/20
There's not really much in the way of sound other than the end credits and beginning scenes if you watch the story, but this works extremely well to set the tone of the game. There are a few sound effects use, along with standard SGB sounds but they are all used in a way that draws you into the game.
GAMEPLAY: 18/20
Exploration puzzle game, roam around some mysterious underground building to try and escape from wherever it is you are. The controls are extremely simple to use and learn. There are three endings for you to see even though the playthrough above only shows one ending. Puzzles are pretty simple and the clues given to you to solve some are so simple, maybe to simple to be fair. The game is short, 10/20 minutes at most, maybe 30 if you want to see all 3 endings, shame it's that short.
TRANSLATION: 15/20
The game's translation is good enough to understand BUT there's major overuse of ..................................... and some mistakes within dialogue itself. It's not a perfect translation but you'll have NO problem understanding what is there.
OVER ALL: 91/100
Certainly one of the better SGB standard use of graphics games i've played, its really a great game and does a good job of drawing you in with the use of sound, story telling, and camera angles. Would I recommend it..? sure! and it's free. Go play it now for the other two endings.
