I Arrived In The Arboretum & End Up Throwing Myself At A Tencopath Till I Win [Prey 3]
0After a more through exploration of psychotronics I discovered a few things. I was able to get into the morgue finding an access card to a section I couldn't access previously. I found a random prisoner and set him free under the faint remembrance that it's useful to me in the long term. I encountered a random phantom that showed me that my shotgun is going to need some upgrades if I want to survive and made my way into the G.U.T.S. all the while finding new typhon to research.
I also got the random side task to get into Neromod division because I can't fabricate anymore because a nervous guy who figured how they were made of. I kinda put that on the back burner to travel into The G.U.T.S. so I could reach The Arboretum... Well I'll admit that I originally was planning on going to the crew quarters, but kept dying to a Telapath so I decided to go the other way because it was safer.
I'll admit safer is a matter of opinion seeing how the entire station is overrun by shapeshifting monster, creature that can control robots and create energy. I say that because unlike the previous areas I was in with a few random typhon running around the arboretum had maybe everything thing I've ever run into along with a new one that looks annoying to fight. Needless to say the arboretum wasn't exactly the safer option, but in the end with my upgraded shotgun I was able to walk around without dying repeatedly...
Till I found the elevator. There was some new typhon called a Technopath that I briefly passed in the G.U.T.S. that can control service bots. I fruitlessly threw myself at it till I gave up briefly thinking about maybe exploring a new objective to face before ending the stream till I had the realization almost everything that I need to reach requires me to go back to the main lobby. I did notice during this moment of contemplation that I couldn't really progress because of a locked door that requires me to find autofiles to trick a lock. So with a bullheaded determination I went back to the technopath and fought it until I beat it unlocking the elevator giving access to more of the station and ended on that victory.
