After getting the lift to work and realizing the taking it down to the lobby meant dealing with radioactive pods, a telepath and a phantom I decided that should go to a different section. I decided to take the long the way back to the lobby and made my into nueromod division.

transversing this section as interesting because when I originally played this section this was one places I thoroughly searched first. So I partially remember that this was section that was most dark and I had to deal with a fighting an annoying typhon along with a few mimics. Luckily going through this section this time I had an upgraded shot gun and found a little gun that allows to take out the corrupted service bots. Outside of finding the gun the nureomod division was mostly uneventful, I got what I needed and left without many issues.

However when I left that department I thought about heading back to that that locked door that I couldn't get into before in the Hardware Labs. I was met with some towering mass that the Pychoscope and the game immediately identified as Nightmare and gave me a prompt to fight or run away from it. Seeing how I encountered this new Typhon and was given two options, I turned around leaving immediately deciding to go into a new department say from the nightmare.

Armed with the new knowledge that there's something called a nightmare blocking my into Hardware Labs I decided to go into life support. This was a completely new sector of Talos 1 for me to explore and hopefully nightmare free. Once I got down to life support I found out that it separates into 2 different areas Power plant & Water Processing.

In Water Processing I a had a quick battle with electric phantom that I've killed plenty of time, a corrupted device bot and jumping puzzle that allows me to get to fill the Psi meter at every water fountain on Talos, but this is technically worthless to me. I've chosen to not use the Typhon abilities, so this unlimited refill is kinda worthless. All things considered going into Water Processing was simple, but I get the feeling that I'll have to come back to this area for some random reason.

After feeling like that I got the all of the stuff currently in Water Processing I ventured into the Power Plant. This area was in a way more of the same, it has random Thyppon roaming around along with a few mimics. The thing interesting thing about this area happened to be a living person locked in a room. This person named Mikhaila who apparently knows Morgan and there's a hint of a history between the two. I found her in a room lock and unmoving not because she's been turned, but because she seems to have a disease that left her immobile. Her hope of survival is medication that is in her office that's effected by aa hull breach.

I took a bit of curiosity to this person immediately, but became invested automatically because the choice to help her came with a count down to her death. I'm not against time sensitive quest, but seeing how the only time I've encountered one was while dealing with the Nightmare it was jarring to be given time limit to go to a location and return. That said it was easy to pop out and find the the outside in the hull breach then return. I saved her and she gave me more banter that suggest that she and Morgan have history and I'm now very curious what it is.
