I Named My Cult Veils Of Shadows & Defeated My First Boss [Cult Of The Lamb 2]
0After jumping in and playing the first session of this game I've pick up a few things. Unlike most rogue-lites that I'm used to the weapon selection is random, but almost weapon I've got have been pretty balanced which can be the down side any new run. I learned that my followers will request random things while I'm on run or want me to preform certain task under a time limit. I also learned that the random boss priest can effect my followers when I'm on runs high might hinder me pretty hard if their effect are too harsh. I overall am I still getting used to this system of rogue-lite because the ones that most familiar with because I think this is the first one that I've played where I had to take care of others.
I say this pointing at Hades as the last rogue-lite I invested a large amount of time in. In most that I've played you can usually upgrade base, weapons, unlike different paths or powers as you progress to your goal of defeating the game. Now as someone who's played a few Devolver Digital especially Enter The Gungeon, Exit The Gungeon & My Friend Pedro I know that do Rogue-lite differently, but this mechanic of making collecting devotion and keeping moral high reminds me of the Shin Megami Tensei series or its spin-offs which history has shown me will be my downfall if I don't stay on top it.
I sorry this session was short, but the next one will be longer with me getting a better handle on what I need to do
