This is an incredible game, especially for the GameBoy. It really shows off what the handheld system was capable of. There is a ton of variety in not only enemies, but stages. And not just overall platforming, there are literal gimmicks like slow sinking slime and such. It's just so, so good. The only real problem is that if you die and have to continue, although the game saves your progress, you lose all of your coins and you have to go back and replay the last level of every stage and beat the boss again. Slight annoyance.
