I combined Epona's Song from OOT with the Wind's Requiem from LOZ:WW (and called it Requiem Ranch)
(I'ma make a description to this that no one asked for. Also it's my birthday what a coincidence)
Have you noticed how Epona's Song from Ocarina of Time and the Wind's Requiem from Wind Waker are played the exact same way (⬆️⬅️➡️)? But of course, with the different keys they're played in they're not the same song... that is, until I made them the same. And the way I did so was through a music software called LMMS, an OOT soundfont, and my best attempt to replicate the original Lon Lon Ranch's style as closely as I wanted. Also it sounds better with headphones or if your phone is tilted with the speaker on the left.
This song idea has been in my head since a week before school started for me, then I worked a bit on it at a time from September to today, and now I finally have something yayyy. And I might possibly make some more OOT soundfont songs in the future maybe.

The Lon Lon Ranch video I based the song on: https://youtu.be/3K8lPynChZY
(I might make links to some alternate versions of this song and link them here soon.)
Techniques I used:
- C-Reverb everywhere
- Panning (Sustained Guitar 1 and 2 L50%, Sustained Guitar ALT L50%, Malon 0%, Fiddle L25%, High strings L75%, Low strings R75%)
- Splitting the guitar into two tracks and having three separate beat/basslines with two volume automations for the two tracks for each part of the song, all just to work around how enveloping isn't available for soundfonts
- Echo delay line panned to the right side so that I can keep the Sustained Guitar ALT (the farmy sound) as one track and still have the "surrounding effect"
- Pitch automation for Malon, SGAlt, and the transition part of the fiddle
- For each SGAlt chord, I set the automation to -2 semitones at the beginning, quickly rise to 0 tones, hold, then shift the pitch to whatever's needed at the moment. Since I could only change the pitch for the whole track, whenever a chord was a bit off, I changed a couple notes mid-pitch shift.
- Fade-in at strings' introduction, lower to 90% volume on third part, fade-out
- Adding a few extra Wind Waker references to the strings
- Occasional dip to 50% then rise to 100% volume automation for fiddle, every last note the volume gradually shifts down and suddenly fades all the way out
- Adding a Glame Lowpass Filter on fiddle, connecting wet/dry level to a sine LFO controller, and turning it on and off throughout the fiddle's part as an occasional vibrato workaround
