I am not a fan of the update Crowbar Collective did to Black Mesa’s controller support. I had custom steam inputs to make it feel like the Orange Box but after in update in 2024 it’s messed up, and I can’t get back to where it was since the restrict inputs to be limited to preset menus, not to mention the controller options override Steam inputs anyway.

The weapon select is restricted to fast weapons switch permanently and I can only go down the row instead selecting the one I want. The zoom sensitively is off no matter what so I can’t make it as slow as I used to.

Because of this I have hardly touched Black Mesa on my Steam Deck barring a few times where I tried to get back into it but the controls quickly kill that. I hope this is rectified in a future update.
