I fell to my death and lived (1.19.2 glitch)
0(TUTORIAL FOR THE TRICK BELOW) I'm sure a lot of you guys have seen by now this random bug in 1.19.2 that allows you to negate all fall damage without using any items. I personally learned about it a week or so ago (just before Phoenix SC uploaded his video about it). In the past, you'd have to use a water bucket or something like that, but here all you need is a copy of 1.19.2 and a little bit of skill.
With regards to my lack of uploads lately, I've got a new job that has more hours than my old one, and the work is more physically demanding too. The pay is pretty good, but this does mean that most days when I get home I'm too tired to record anything. I haven't abandoned anything yet and I have no plans to do so anytime soon. This video kinda just exists so that I can say these things in an easy to make format that people who watch my videos will actually see (unlike my twitter, which nobody seems to care about)
How to perform said glitch:
1) Holding down the sprint key AND spacebar AND forwards (W), run and jump off a high cliff.
2) CONTINUE to hold sprint AND spacebar AND forwards (W) while you are falling. You can move your mouse around wherever you like, as long as you keep holding down the buttons. The trick WILL NOT WORK if you don't hold the buttons the entire way down.
3) A few block before the ground, when you would normally mlg water bucket, press the shift key without letting go of any of the previously mentioned keys. I find that holding it down for a second helps to ensure that you don't accidentally miss the timing.
NOTE: I find that this bug works best if you fall from a height that would normally kill the player, around 25-40 blocks. Shorter heights seem to be more finicky with the timing, and if you jump from too high up, it may be hard to hit the shift key at the right time.
