Even Heroes Die is an action platforming roguelite with elements from the Metroidvania and Zelda genres. The hero has been afflicted with a deadly curse, and you must scour the ever-changing kingdom for a cure before his time runs out.

This month, I worked on bringing more life to the game by adding several NPCs and a dialogue system. You can rest at the inn, upgrade your sword at the blacksmith, and rescue people in need while on your journey. All of these tie into the game's time system, in which your time is just as valuable as your money.

Next I'll be working on the snowy area, as well as polishing the game feel and adding sound effects.
