I was at a point in development where I was about to start working on a lot of UI in the game. UIs for dialogue, events, ship customization, options, etc. I knew that Godot 4 had LOADS of UI improvements so I figured it might be a good idea to port the game to Godot 4 now before I get much farther into messing with UI
What I didn't expect is for Godot 4 to have a feature regression with 2D Glow, and decided I'm going to revert and finish the game in Godot 3.4 like I was doing before. Here I outline some of the issues I ran into during conversion and how I resolved them.
