naa but seriously, i loved playing the 2v8 game mode for the limited time we had it, and had wanted to share my thoughts on the game mode, and general hope for it to return! While i don't upload a ton of videos on the game, DBD is a game i pretty much always play on and off! but i've never had more fun in this game then the absolute chaos that was 2v8 mode!

The hour has come. Dead by Daylight is introducing the new limited-time 2v8 game mode, and we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know.

WHEN: July 25th – August 8th

For the first time, 2 Killers will team up to take on 8 Survivors in a high-stakes, action-packed Trial. Survivors must repair 8 of 13 Generators and escape, while the Killers attempt to finish them off for good.

With unique character abilities and a reimagined Hook system, this is Dead by Daylight like you’ve never seen it before.

NOTABLE CHANGES
2v8 is a game mode with a higher emphasis on action, so we had to make some gameplay adjustments to accommodate.

This means a few changes to Maps and several key systems, including the way Survivors are Hooked and Sacrificed. Given the frantic nature of 2v8, we found that downing and placing Survivors on Hooks was slowing down the pace a little too much. To allow Killers to dive back into the action quicker, downed Survivors can immediately be sent to a Cage, teleporting to a random location across the Map.
