I need a Dragon Scimitar
0Old School Runescape (OSRS) just released Leagues 3: Shattered Relics. In this series, Lilratbags OSRS and I will be competing in Leagues 3: Shattered relics, with a PVP twist.
The rules are simple:
- We each have 4 hours to prepare for the fight.
- We don’t know what the other player is up to.
- The loser of the fight has to alc their most expensive item
This is episode 3 of Leagues 3, but we fight.
This progression series has all the usual excitement of a leagues series, or an ironman series. But, the stakes and gains are all that little bit higher.
In this episode, I go on a quest for new gear. I specifically am aiming to unlock the dragon scimitar (which requires monkey madness) and ancient magics (which requires desert treasure). To do this I have to be careful with spending my sages renown. Most of this episode is spent runecrafting and killing lava dragons in the wilderness.

What is Leagues 3: Shattered Relics?
The Shattered Relics League is the third league in Old School RuneScape. In this iteration of Leagues, players have access to the entirety of the world map, rather than the area-restricted Twisted and Trailblazer Leagues. However, players do not have full access to their skills and various bosses; they must be unlocked through the use of Sage's Renown, a type of currency earned by completing specific tasks within the Shattered Relics League. In addition to Sage's Renown, completing these tasks also earns league points that can be used to purchase cosmetic rewards from the Leagues Reward Shop upon the end of the Shattered Relics League.
Relics, which are unlocks with powerful effects in past Leagues, are shattered into less-powerful fragments for this League. These fragments are collected by engaging in various activities within the League, such as skilling, minigames, and combat. While players initially can only equip one fragment, they can unlock the ability to equip more as additional tasks are completed.
Each fragment slot unlocked also brings additional passive bonuses that are always applied, such as experience and drop rate multipliers. Lastly, equipping enough fragments belonging to one category can grant set effects.
