I Review Every Way of the Samurai Game
This is a compilation of all of my reviews for Way of the Samurai 1, 2, 3, and 4. Each game can be seen separately and in better quality. Youtube compression sometimes is a pain. Way of the Samurai is a cult series of games developed by Aqquire since the Playstation 2 and last seen on the Playstation 3. Four games have been made and released worldwide in some form. The series has ports on the PC as well for 3 and 4. Sadly 1 and 2 are exclusive to the PS2.

Way of the Samurai, known in Japan as Samurai (侍), is a PlayStation 2 action-adventure game developed by Acquire and released in 2002.
Set in 19th century Japan, the player takes on the role of a rōnin who wanders into a remote village and becomes involved in a conflict between rival clans. A notable feature of the game is the branching storyline, which allows player decisions to radically alter the course of the story.
An updated version titled Samurai Kanzenban (侍〜完全版〜, Samurai Complete Edition) was released in Japan in 2003. It was based on the Western versions of the game, and as such, it included the non-sword weapons, bugfixes, the exit for ending the game early, hard mode, and horizontal text of those versions. The game was followed by three sequels. Way of the Samurai was also released on PlayStation Portable under the name Samurai Dō Portable (侍道ポータブル, Samurai Dō Pōtaburu) on September 18, 2008 in Japan, prior to the release of Way of the Samurai 3.

The game is a prequel to Way of the Samurai.

Way of the Samurai 3 (Japanese: 侍道3, Hepburn: Samurai Dou 3) is a video game made by Acquire, released by Spike on November 13, 2008, in Japan for the PlayStation 3, and later ported to the Xbox 360. It is the sequel of the PlayStation 2 games Way of the Samurai and Way of the Samurai 2. A sequel, Way of the Samurai 4, was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2011.
The English version of the game was released in North America by publishers Agetec (PS3) and UFO Interactive Games (Xbox 360) on October 13, 2009, and in Europe by Rising Star Games on March 12, 2010. It was released for Windows by Ghostlight on March 23, 2016.

Way of the Samurai 4 (侍道4, Samurai Dou 4) is a video game developed by Acquire and published by Spike for the PlayStation 3. It was released in Japan on March 3, 2011.
An English version was announced on January 19, 2012 by Rising Star Games. The release of the game in Europe was on October 5, 2012. On April 4, 2012, XSEED Games published the game for the U.S. as a downloadable title on PlayStation Network with a release date of August 21, 2012. The game was initially PlayStation 3 only, however the game was later released for Microsoft Windows by Ghostlight on July 23, 2015.
The game is set in a fictional port town called Amihama during the last days of the Shogunate. Players can create their own samurai and choose to align themselves with one of three factions: the pro-government forces, the anti-government rebels seeking to repel foreigners, or the British Navy stationed in the city to negotiate a peace treaty. When the negotiations between the Magistrate of Amihama and the British goes wrong after a Prajna attack at the meeting point, the Tokugawa Shogunate sends one of their Tairō to quash the revolt.
The main story takes place over the span of five days. The character's decisions and actions will shape their path, and ultimately, their fate.
